Food Intolerance Testing
Over 45% of the population react to food that they eat which, whilst not life threatening, can have a massive impact on someone’s quality of life.
Often people suffer from a skin condition such as acne or digestive problems, like bloating or constipation, and they embark on an elimination diet. However, whilst we know that many people react to the common food allergens, often it’s a combination of foods or the level of the foods consumed that is causing the problem. It’s very difficult to determine the offending foods or drinks by elimination alone. It can also be difficult to know how to re-introduce a food, especially if there are more than a couple, it’s a bit of a trial and error exercise, not to mention time consuming.
A food intolerance test is a simple finger prick test which helps you cut through the guesswork and get a diet plan set up from day one after you receive the results. With the results you will receive a guide book on what to do next and I will help you plan your new diet. The good news is that you don’t have to give up the food allergens for ever, as by taking the foods away, your immune system will no longer recognise the food as an issue. You will be guided as to what to avoid and what you can rotate so you will have substitutes and your diet will become enriched not limited in any way.
Over the period of elimination you can monitor your results and we will also look at whether you need digestive support to help the digestive system heal.
Tests are available at 3 levels, starting with 75 foods at £150 to 150 foods at £299.
Food intolerance is a condition with a range of symptoms including gut symptoms, bloating, headaches, skin problems, low mood, fatigue or weight gain. These symptoms must always initially be checked out by a Medical Professional. If you have seen a Medical Professional but have not been given a diagnosis for your symptoms you may be suffering from food intolerance.
